Stage 4 of tissue culture, known as acclimatization or weaning, is a crucial transitional phase where plantlets are gradually adapted from the controlled environment of lab vessels to the more variable conditions of a greenhouse or grow room.
During weaning, plants are slowly exposed to increased levels of light, air circulation, and varying humidity, allowing them to adjust and thrive outside the lab.
Once successfully weaned, these plants can be potted up and cultivated into robust mother plants, ready for further propagation or use in horticultural applications.
