Rubus ‘Boyson’

Boysen plants produce huge fruit, among the largest blackberries. Berries have a sweet-tart flavor and a reddish-black color when fully ripe. Small white flowers precede the fruit on thornless canes in spring. Boysen’s vigorous vines perform best in full sun and the fruit ripens around early July. Juicy, aromatic berries can be used for canning, freezing, jellies, and eating fresh.
