Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’

As one of the few grasses that thrive in partial shade, you can’t go wrong with Hakonechloa Aureola. Richly golden variegated leaves form delicate looking, but tough-as-nails mounds over a foot tall. This elegant grass has many uses: a bright ground cover, the edge of a pathway, and it is sensational in a container. Let it cascade down a bank like a golden waterfall or set off shrubs and other perennials.
