Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’ is a mounded, clumping grass with a moderate rate of growth. The highlight of this grass is the foliage which is stiff, bright green with creamy white stripes, very striking! Variegated Japanese Sedge does best in a well drained soil and will not tolerate overly wet soils. This Sedge is low growing, only 12″ x 12″ and is best used as a border, groundcover, as single clumps along rocks, or in mixed containers.
